If you live in Mississippi County, Arkansas, and work in the manufacturing sector, the county will cover up to ten percent towards any home you buy or build in the county, from $100,000 to $500,000. A savings of as much as fifty thousand dollars!

Program Details

New Construction

  • Minimum Home Cost $200,000

  • Maximum Home Cost $500,000

  • 10% ($20,000-$50,000) Forgivable Loan

  • After loan is forgiven, borrower will receive 2.70% of construction cost for income tax liability of forgiven loan

  • Own home for at least 4 years

  • Stay on job with the same employer for 4 years

  • Maximum Home Cost $500,000

  • 5% ($5,000-$25,000) Forgivable Loan

  • After loan is forgiven, borrower will receive 1.35% of purchase price for income tax liability of forgiven loan

  • Own home for at least 4 years

  • Stay on job with the same employer for 4 years
